Come molti di voi sapranno ormai... gli After Forever si sono sciolti ma voci di corridoio dicono che ben presto si sentirà ancora parlare di Floor Jansen e con tutta probabilità creerà un nuovo gruppo... il lo spero davvero tanto perchè mi piace tantissimo come cantante... aggiornerò (potrete farlo anche voi ovviamente) questo topic con tutte le news che riuscirò a scovare...
Many a fan of gothic or female fronted metal enthousiast might have shed a tear or two when Dutch international smash hit band After Forever called it quits earlier this year. Summer Darkness 2009 can now proudly present relief in the form of a very special concert by Red Lime String Quartet and After Forever's Floor Jansen. Songs by After Forever have been arranged for strings by the band's Joost van den Broek and with the occasional surprise or two these will be performed live and acoustically at a very special venue featuring lead vocals by none other than After Forever's very own leading lady Floor Jansen. An intimate and highly special moment of relief for all dearly missing these splendid, orchestral sounds which brought After Forever its massive and deserved fame. And to once again have Floor Jansen send shivers down your spine with her amazing voice. Red Lime String Quartet & Floor Jansen (After Forever) will prove to be a sure fire highlight of this year's Summer Darkness festival.
Floor Janesen (ex-After Forever) torna sul palco: in una chiesa, con una band di musica classica!
Strano ritorno sulle scene per Floor Jansen, ex-frontwoman degli After Forever, che lo scorso Febbraio si sono sciolti. A inizio Agosto, la bellissima cantante è salita sul palco di una chiesa a Utrecht (Olanda) con il quartetto di musica classica Red Limo String Quartet, per cantare anche qualche pezzo riarrangiato della sua band. Potete vedere il risultato qui sotto. D'altronde, il suo modo di cantare è sempre stato piuttosto operistico, quindi questa sua apparizione è piuttosto azzeccata.
Floor ha finalmente annunciato la creazione di un nuovo gruppo del quale farà parte anche lei... si chiamerà ReVamp ^^ e uscirà l'anno prossimo il loro primo album, che bello!!

18-10-2009 AFTER FOREVER: nuova band per la ex Floor Jansen
Si chiama REVAMP la nuova band dell'ex-cantante degli AFTER FOREVER, Floor Jansen. Al suo fianco il chitarrista Waldemar Sorychta (GRIP INC., ENEMIES OF THE SUN) e il tastierista Joost van den Broek (ex-AFTER FOREVER, STAR ONE). Il gruppo ha iniziato la scrittura dei suoi primi brani.
Bene...bene!!! Non vedo l'ora di sentire qualcosa di suo!!! Ame è sempre piaciuta!! quando hai altre notizie ...mi raccomando piguetta! Grande!!!
Anche io non vedo l'ora di sentirla nuovamente cantare! Io l'adoro e credo che sia una forza della musica... l'ho vista purtroppo solo una volta dal vivo a Milano quando faceva ancora parte degli After Forever ed è stata grandiosa! Spero che il genere musicale della sua nuova band non si discatti troppo da quello degli After Forevere perchè lei è grandiosa a cantare quelle canzoni. The Dutch venue P60 in Amstelveen (The Netherlands) asked me and the Red Limo String Quartet to come and perform our special show!!! We will do so on the 27th of December!
So, ones more After Forever songs will be played by this string quartet with arrangements made by Joost van de Broek (After Forever) Don't miss it!
eh si si sono sciolti all'inizio di quest'anno dopo un anno di pausa... mi è dispiaciuto tantissimo Adesso Floor sta creando un nuovo gruppo che si chiama Revamp.
Si Mark e Floor hanno lo stesso cognome, ma non sono parenti... penso che sia solo un cognome diffuso dalle loro parti
